The gardens at Stanton are varied and there are some fantastic features including some amazing trees, quirky hidden doors and beautiful mature flower beds. Our personal favorite places are;
Outside the hall. Around the front of the hall are lovely sandstone corner stone next to the grand front windows, or the front entrance porch provides a nice back drop – sorry folks this is a private residence so external shots only.
The Conservatory – lovely lush greenery, with exotic flowers and the odd lemon and fig plants.
The Grass Garden – the newest garden. The grass garden was completed in 2016 by Ed Bishop a local garden designer. It’s a gravel garden featuring various grass types, verbena, agapanthus and a holey boat! Plus, boasts lovely views across the valley.
The Pond – the pond is located just down from the GinGan it is fed by a natural spring and in the summer, is home to some amazing gunnera plants.
