Bride and Groom Photos

The gardens at Stanton Hall are open to the public from April to September so because of this full Wedding Party photos can only take place in and around either the GinGan, Wedding Barn or Wedding Field and not around the gardens. However, we do think our gardens are rather nice so the bride and groom can have photos taken around the gardens, please make sure you add this to your booking.

The gardens at Stanton are varied and there are some fantastic features including some amazing trees, quirky hidden doors and beautiful mature flower beds. Our personal favorite places are;

  • Outside the hall. Around the front of the hall are lovely sandstone corner stone next to the grand front windows, or the front entrance porch provides a nice back drop – sorry folks this is a private residence so external shots only.

  • The Conservatory – lovely lush greenery, with exotic flowers and the odd lemon and fig plants.

  • The Grass Garden – the newest garden. The grass garden was completed in 2016 by Ed Bishop a local garden designer. It’s a gravel garden featuring various grass types, verbena, agapanthus and a holey boat! Plus, boasts lovely views across the valley.

  • The Pond – the pond is located just down from the GinGan it is fed by a natural spring and in the summer, is home to some amazing gunnera plants.
